Hawzah News Agency- the Syrian state TV, aired a video in which a group announced the overthrow of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the release of all prisoners.

The video was aired after anti-regime armed groups took control of the capital Damascus on Sunday morning. The person who read the statement called on all opposition members and citizens to protect the institutions of the "Free Syrian Government".
